Kevätkokous (12.00-12.30)

Ennen seminaaria pidetään yhdistyksen sääntömääräinen kevätkokous samoissa tiloissa. Käsiteltävät asiat yhdistyksen sääntöjen mukaiset kohdat ovat:
  1. kokouksen avaus
  2. valitaan kokouksen puheenjohtaja, sihteeri, kaksi pöytäkirjantarkastajaa ja tarvittaessa kaksi ääntenlaskijaa
  3. todetaan kokouksen laillisuus ja päätösvaltaisuus
  4. hyväksytään kokouksen työjärjestys
  5. esitetään tilinpäätös, vuosikertomus ja tilintarkastajien lausunto
  6. päätetään tilinpäätöksen vahvistamisesta ja vastuuvapauden myöntämisestä hallitukselle ja muille vastuuvelvollisille
  7. käsitellään muut kokouskutsussa mainitut asiat.

Presentators:

Prof. Enrico Rukzio is an assistant professor at the University of Duisburg-Essen and a lecturer in the computing department at Lancaster University. His research focuses on the investigation of novel interaction techniques, applications and services which support the interaction between mobile devices and pervasive user interfaces. This includes especially the interaction with horizontal and vertical displays, personal projectors and projected user interfaces. Enrico has published over 60 internationally peer-reviewed publications including journal, conference and workshop papers and holds 2 patents. He is Conference Chair of MUM 2012, PC Co-Chair of Mobile HCI 2013, was PC Co-Chair of MUM 2010 und Tutorial Co-Chair of Mobile HCI 2009 & 2010. Enrico is an associate editor of the Journal of Personal and Ubiquitous Computing and was guest editor for the journals Personal and Ubiquitous Computing, Pervasive and Mobile Computing and Mobile Human Computer Interaction. His research and supervision has been funded by the DFG, EU, DOCOMO Euro-Labs, EPSRC, Nokia and NWDA.

Prof. Giulio Jacucci is Professor at the Department of Computer Science, University of Helsinki. He is director of the Network Society Programme at the Helsinki Institute for Information Technology HIIT. Previously he has been Professor at the Aalto University at the Department of Design October 2009- December 2010. He has visited the Fraunhofer Institute for Computer Graphics in Darmstadt and the Vienna University of Technology. He participates in organising and in program committees of several ACM conferences in the area of human-computer interaction and ubiquitous computing. He is active in the European Institute of Innovation and Technology , ICT Labs leading an activity in Smart Spaces. Prof Giulio Jacucci coordinated BeAware a FP7 EU ICT project (www.energyawareness.eu) featured on Euronews and honored by the Nokia Mindtrek Ubimedia Award 2010.  He is also co-founder and member of the board of directors of MultiTouch Ltd. which provides interactive multiuser displays and software platforms.

Dr. Pertti Huuskonen's career in IT, electronics, computing, AI and HCI spans three decades. He has carried out design, research, development, management, strategy and vision creation tasks at VTT, C.E.R.N., and Nokia, having lived in Oulu, Tampere, Geneva, and Palo Alto. For the past 10 years he held a Principal Researcher position in Nokia, Tampere, Finland. Now he is gearing up Bsoniq.com, a startup focusing on sound design and R&D for dynamic media (video, films, games, e-publications).
