In order for you to take full advantage of your membership, 

• Join the SIGCHI Finland email list. The association has two email lists, through which you may receive information about current issues. One of these is meant for briefing of general HCI-related issues and the other is for job announcements.
• Register to be a webpage user. 
• You can also create your own home page via the SIGCHI Finland webpages (instructions for using the webpages). 

In addition, you can follow the association’s activities through the information sent to you by email, or through the webpages. On the right-hand side of the internet site you will find shortcuts to fresh news and coming events.

If needed, you can also inform about, for example, coming events to other members via the previously mentioned email list and/or by leaving a notice in the webpage service. Notices about open job vacancies are sent to the relevant email list.

The association organises two seminars per year (spring and autumn), which offer presentations about current themes and the opportunity to create contacts in the HCI field in Finland. Annual general meetings are held together with the seminars. In addition to the seminars, various other events are also arranged. See you at the seminars!

SIGCHI Finland membership does no include ACM membership
